His Beatitude spent time in Kwethluk, serving a Panikhida at Matushka Olga's gravesite with eight surviving sons and daughters. His Beatitude went on to attend the Kuskokwim Conference gathering in Napaskiak and bless the hundreds of faithful Yup'ik's gathered together for his Archpastoral visit.
The icon of Matushka Olga appears on the wall in the home of Fr. Alexander Larson where the bishops dined and later met with the Michael family. This icon was placed on her grave during the singing of "Memory eternal" at the end of the panakhida, and then presented to the metropolitan. He, Bishop Benjamin and all the faithful then venerated the icon as well.
His Beatitude told them that he is commited to the glorification of Mother Olga and related to them stories of physical and spirtual healing attributed to her which he had gathered from other parts of the country.
